Biography

I locate my work between modernist literatures and literary and queer theory. Broadly speaking, I am interested in British literature of the first half of the twentieth century, deconstructionist and post-structuralist literary theory, psychoanalysis, and queer theory. My recent work has explored correspondence as a queer form. In treating correspondence as a relation of ongoing wait (for the arrival of a letter that may never come), I theorize the position of the correspondent as contingent and queer -- invested in a future always deferred. My research is motivated by these and other considerations of queer existence and queer form. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and French at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
