Biography

I received my BA (Hons) in English and French from Boston University in 2014. I went on to do graduate work at the University of Cambridge where I completed an MPhil in 18th Century and Romantic Studies in 2015. My master’s dissertation sought to place Byron’s early verse in the context of early nineteenth-century visual culture, with a particular focus on the culture of display and spectacle. Before beginning my studies at the University of Chicago, I worked with the curatorial team at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and then as a Resident History of Art Tutor at the top girls’ school in the UK.
